Ashtanga Foundations Series Part II – Standing Sequence

In the second part of this workshop series, having already covered the sun salutations and correct breath in part one, we move on to the standing sequence of the Primary Series. We will look in depth at each asana (pose) in the standing sequence, making sure we have the correct alignment working from the foundations (the feet) up.

In the last part of this workshop we will run through the primary sequence from the sun salutations until the end of the standing sequence.

Suitable for all levels. No prior experience of Ashtanga is necessary, however, if you have already tried Ashtanga, the workshop is a great opportunity to make sure you have the fundamentals correct, in order to improve and to practice safely and effectively.
