New Class – Mandala Yoga
Monday Mornings with Sarah Mackenzie
From Monday 2nd March | 7:15 – 8:15
Based on the 4 basic elements – Fire, Water, Earth and Air – Mandala Vinyasa connects each element with a specific area of the body, integrating the spiral patterns that nature uses and exploring circular movements with our bodies, moving 360º around the mat.
Physically the class is flowing in a slower pace through different levels of asana, while prioritising our breath to movement and working on a particular target area in the body.
The practice usually starts and ends with a short Yin session so we prepare and “close” the areas of the body that will be working on.
The methodology behind the series is based on honouring the ever-changing energy in the here and now. Working with the Mayan calendar, which operates under the principle of going with the flow of the specific energy of the day.
Sarah Mackenzie will be leading this class on Monday mornings from 7:15 to 8:15 from 2nd March.
