Delve into the art of deep rest in this two-hour Restorative and Yoga Nidra workshop. You’ll learn about the neuroscience behind the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra, a deeply relaxing guided meditation (carried out in savasana) that reduces stress and promotes better sleep. The first half of the workshop will involve restorative yoga postures (supported by lots of props for maximum comfort) and breathing exercises to help prepare your body and mind for the practice of Yoga Nidra. The remainder of the workshop will involve being guided through a meditation in the most luxurious of savasanas, allowing for total relaxation of body and peace of mind. Leave feeling refreshed, revitalised, and equipped with breathing and relaxation techniques to use at home.
