Cancelled Sweat and Reset: Vinyasa Flow & Journaling for 2020

Overindulged over Christmas? Feeling sluggish and bloated? Or do you struggle to stick to your new year’s resolutions? Join Charlotte Hay for an uplifting workshop, detoxing and resetting for the year to come.

This session will start with an energizing flow to stoke some internal fire, helping the body sweat out some of the toxins we might have consumed over the holidays (hello that third glass of sherry on boxing day!), with lots of forward folds and juicy twists to help the body’s natural detox process.

Then some breathwork and visualisation techniques will follow, to help support the nervous system and get you in the right frame of mind for some journalling.

Journalling is a powerful tool for tuning into what’s going on in your mind, reconnecting with yourself, and helping you achieve your goals. Some useful tips and prompts for getting the most out of journaling will be introduced to you, and you will have time to journal in class. The session will end with a blissful yoga nidra, so you can leave feeling fully relaxed and rejuvenated.

All ages and levels of yoga are welcome in this session, as you can take it on your own pace and modifications/options are provided if needed. No prior experience of journalling is necessary, but please bring along a journal (if you have one, or a piece of paper and pen will suffice!).
