5 week course with Rose Skeoch
New to yoga? Maybe you’ve had a break, or have tried the odd class and want to learn more? If so, this course is for you!
Over the 5 weeks, we will cover the building blocks of yoga so you can feel confident taking a regular class, and develop a practice that suits your body. Beginning with breathing techniques, we will look at how to link breath with movement and the basics of alignment. From there we will introduce the basics of ‘flow’, starting with the Sun Salutations sequence to build strength and flexibility.
We will then begin to add the most common standing poses and seated poses, and bring together what we’ve learned in a flow sequence. The class will incorporate a short mindfulness meditation and finish with relaxation.
All yoga mats, blankets and props are provided.
