Camila is the current owner and lead teacher of Hope Studio Yoga in Glasgow. She has obtained her 500h teacher training qualification in the Seasonal Yoga Academy. Originally from Brazil, she has been living in Glasgow since 2014.
Camila started practicing Yoga hoping that it could help her cope with her depression and anxiety issues. Initially, she was skeptical about the acclaimed benefits of Yoga. But time showed her how powerful and transformative Yoga can be to one’s life. Her yogic journey has been more introspective, focusing in personal growth and overcoming fears and insecurities. Along with her physical asana practice, Camila dived into the other aspects of Yoga Philosophy to find healing and peace.
Her teaching style is based on this value of finding the peace within and her slow paced classes focus on breath and concentration, allowing space for the student to experience stillness and balance. Her gratitude for the Yoga system has turned into a life purpose of helping others to find their way to a more calm, balanced and fulfilling life.
